Jen Stark
Jen Stark is an artist who has work in sculpture, (some) animation and drawing (some painting too). All her work has a very similar “color is our friend” theme which is hard not to love. Watchmen: good for the few, mixed for the most
Ive been waiting for watchmen for about half a year now, and it has finally arrived. The graphic novel written by Alan Moore was amazing, but when they approached him with the movie, he told everyone that you couldn’t make a good film about Watchmen. Thats where Zack Snyder comes in.
The movie was insanely accurate to the graphic novel. Every shot could be traced to a panel in the book and...
WatchIn the mood to watch a good short film? checkout Russel Aziz’s “The Gallery”. I found it on vimeo; it seems that it was his thesis film for his studies of film production. I really love it, the story is a little iffy, but the cinematography is great

Wired’s recent article speaks of “the netbook effect”. In their article they point out the sudden boom for netbooks everywhere, especially Europe and Asia. Actually, the US is way behind. Watchmen tanks, or does it?
reviews for watchmen seem very fizzly. Some of them claim its just terrible and too hard to follow whereas others are very hopefuly and show that the movie could have some promise. Being a fan and having read the graphic novel, hopefully the movie will make sense. As long as im satisfied, well, everything will be fine (for me).

WatchAn attempt at a more artistically made film by myself and others. A common critique of the film is that were all too young for this to make any sense (once u try to figure out what the hell is even going on). My response to this critique is this: kids (none of us are minors actually) exist. and apparently they have the ability to make films too, sorry to all who are disappointed by that.
