That’s not true at all. In Massachusetts they are paid at the least 100,000 k annually. Though many have been losing their jobs in favor of EZ pass systems and machinated collectors there are still jobs available. Pay also increases with years spent at the job, this link should help you. http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Toll_Booth_Collector/Hourly_RateAs you can see the median for someone starting is $11 an hour and it increases pretty dramatically with the years. But I have a friend who only was working for them for three years and as I said she makes 100 k annually. These jobs are very sought after so I wish you luck. I’m trying to get into it myself.
Answer
Very little. Realistically from about $6.00-$9.00 per hour.

This has nothing to do with any other things on this page, but it was just so shocking that these people make this much. Apparently it’s a really hard job to get and you definitely have to “know someone” to get it too.
