More random photo posts from me huh? Geeze, about year ago I was nothing but random photo posts and maybe a few words here, some letters there. It’s unfortunate too, that the average blogger’s post it just a sentence and maybe a picture, but more on this later. So last January I reposted this picture, and it’s truly a beautiful grid: consistent, colorful, and well, happy (probably a taboo word for photographers but I’m going to use it anyways). It was taken and composed by an amateur photographer, Jessie Wright. This is where things get interesting, because unlike dan23 (last post), his flickr is a mess, and he posts practically every image that hits the sensor of his camera. While there is no denying that there are some excellent pictures in there, it’s still a mess. The good news is that I went though all of it, so I’ll compose an album of my favorites. This is taken from one of his projects titled “no parking”, it’s a little cliche, but still worth a view. I’m not a photographer, but perhaps seeing the setting and surrounding area around all these signs would seem a bit less linear. This set he has on flickr is called “square”, Jessie Wright is doing something that as a filmmaker I love to do too, abstracting real objects. However, he has done this annoying thing with his flickr which doesn’t let anyone so much as copy a photo (even a low quality). So I’ll just link the set to yall here:

The rest were looking at here is just a collection of my favorites. This guy is all over the place, could be a good thing or a bad thing, I can’t really decide.
