Dramatic depiction of a foster child for the mag.

Trying to pull out the sense of a disrupted life, without hitting any cheese.

The big turn around for the shoot was giving our model direction to still retain a sense of pride within her character. At first, the model was just looking really sad, and she just looked too pitiful (which hard to buy because she’s not actually a foster child). We asked her to look right into the lens, lift her chin higher up, and look more confident. Blam-o.

I’ve honestly never done the pop-flash style before. I’ll admit that I enjoy it a lot, but this does look like the gap right now. Need to work on that.

John Mark McMillan for RELEVANT magazine. Naturally, I had the chance to speak with him for a few moments. He really is just as honest in person as he comes off as in his music. McMillan will forever be one of my favorites.

As I was editing my photos, a co-worker asked me if I could help make a 15 second video for our instagram.

She could see I was editing my own photos.

“Maybe later, I’m working on something really important”
